I can hardly believe that it’s already September, and that this wedding season is halfway over! I’ve said it hundreds of times before, but I’ll say it again… I’ve been so blessed by all my sweet Niki Marie couples this year. It’s just been so humbling! Katie and Andy had their big Greek wedding this past weekend (see their engagement session here), and these two were definitely no exception! As some of you know, I’m actually half Greek so it’s always so fun for me to be apart of Greek weddings…. even if I can’t dance at all! These two were married by the same priest that married Andy’s parents, which made the ceremony so personal. Towards the end of the ceremony, the priest had the parents come up and bless the newlyweds! It was one of my favorite parts of their wedding day.
After the ceremony, we headed to a nearby park for all of the bridal and bride and groom portraits! Katie, Andy and all of the bridal party were so much fun to work with. Even on a tight timeline, we were able to capture so many portraits! The black and white images are so of my favorite images from the day. As we packed up our bags to end the night, I couldn’t help but leave with such a full heart!
To the newlyweds, I hope you two are enjoying your honeymoon! I can’t wait for you to see some of my favorite images from your wedding, I can barely contain my excitement! Thank you for not only inviting me into your wedding day, but for also being so great to work with!
