Breanne and Jason’s engagement session is one that’s definitely close to my heart! Breanne is actually a super talented photographer herself, and she second shot with me for countless weddings last year. Let me tell you, Breanne has the sweetest, kindest spirit and she is truly a gem. I just adore her and Jason and I’m so thankful for the friendship that we’ve developed over the last year and a half! I was basically jumping up and down when Breanne asked me to be her wedding photographer. Needless to say, it’s always such an incredible honor to photograph another photographer! Talk about a little bit of pressure, right?! These two are definitely no strangers on the blog! I shot their Central Park portrait session last winter (see here), and this session was HOURS away from when Jason popped the question. Jason asked Breanne to marry him during Christmas time in New York City. Seriously how romantic is that? It gets me every time.

A few weeks ago, Breanne, Jason and their crazy adorable puppy Brinkley (just wait until you see how cute he is!!) were in front of my camera for their Downtown Detroit engagement session. Truthfully, I’ve been looking forward to their engagement session all summer, mostly because that meant I got to hang out with these two again. They are the type of couple that you want to become best friends with! That day, we adventured around to some of the best Downtown Detroit locations, and I’m so excited to share these images with you all. Their April wedding better come super quick!!
