This classic black and white Detroit Institute of Arts engagement session was one for the books! I’m convinced that I have the classiest couples ever. When Dana and Steven showed up to the session, my jaw literally had to be picked up from the ground. You guys, they are stunning… inside and out!!

Leading up to the engagement session, Dana mentioned to me that she was super “awkward” in front of the camera. I didn’t believe her then, and I definitely didn’t believe her at the engagement session! She and Steven are SO adorable, and I’m completely convinced that they could be models. The way that Steven can make Dana laugh is the sweetest thing, and Dana’s smile could quite literally light up an entire room. Dana and Steven are actually college sweethearts, and my husband Brad and I are also college sweethearts, so I always love hearing similar stories!

Truthfully at the end of the engagement session, I always get a little sad because I won’t see my couples until their wedding day. Dana and Steven’s wedding day is exactly a year from this weekend at one of my favorite Metro Detroit venues. It seems like such a long time away, but I just know that it’s going to fly by and that their wedding day is going to be nothing short of amazing!
