It really doesn’t get any sweeter than Jane and Bobby! These two were actually set up by their moms (so sweet!), and last week they officially tied the knot. Jane wore the prettiest ball gown, and she truly looked stunning! Their ceremony was held as the same church that their parents and Bobby’s grandparents were married at! How incredible is that?
After the ceremony, we travelled to the Detroit Institute of Arts for portraits before the reception! The white marble paired perfectly with Jane’s classic ball gown… She looked like a real life Cinderella! Jane, Bobby and their entire bridal party were so fun to work with.
One of my favorite moment from Jane and Bobby’s wedding day was when Jane’s grandmother hit the dance floor at the reception. Jane’s grandmother has Alzheimer’s and after the formal dances were finished the band played one of her favorite songs to dance to! Instantly her face lit up, and she was the star of the dance floor. I’ve never seen anyone have more fun on the dance floor! It was a moment where I had to fight back the tears behind the camera! I know I’m not the only person who’s lost a grandparent to Alzheimer’s, so I can only imagine how invaluable it is for Jane to have this moment captured for her!
Jane and Bobby, I hope you two are having the time of your lives in Thailand! I am SO excited to share some of my (many) favorite images with you. It’s been an absolute joy to work with you both, and I couldn’t be happier for you two!
