Wow! Truthfully, I don’t even know where to begin with Jamie and Peter’s Downtown Detroit wedding! From start to finish, the whole entire day felt like a dream, and I’m so honored to have been chosen to capture it. If you’re a city girl like me, than this wedding is for you! The rooftop photos are some of my favorites!!

From the very beginning of the day, everyone was so relaxed and easy going. In fact, I don’t think there was even a moment during the day that we were rushed or stressed! One of the most emotional moments of the day was when those church doors opened and Peter saw Jamie for the first time as she walked down the aisle. His expression says it all, and everyone in the cathedral was trying to hold back the tears!

After the ceremony, we adventured around Downtown Detroit for some street and rooftop photos. Jamie, Peter and their whole bridal party were so trusting of me, as we stopped traffic in the middle of the city, and snuck up to one of my favorite rooftops. I would definitely say it was worth it, because those photos are some of my new favorites!

Jamie and Peter are such a sweet and down to earth couple! It’s so evident how much these two adore each other, and I love how much fun they have together. The whole entire wedding day was SO fun, and it didn’t even feel like work!

To the newlyweds, I hope you two are enjoying your honeymoon! You both were so amazing to work with and your wedding day was incredible. I’m so thankful to have crossed paths with you, and I can’t wait for you to see these photos!
