Nikki & Brian | Winter Wedding at the Colony Club Detroit

Truthfully, I’m not sure where to begin with Nikki and Brian’s Colony Club Detroit wedding! From the very moment I arrived until the second I left, everything was perfect. We were blessed with a gorgeous sunny day, which during a Michigan winter, can be hard to come by! The morning of the wedding, Brian gifted Nikki with three gifts and three letters. Yes, you read that right, THREE! It just shows how incredibly thoughtful Brian is, and it was one of the sweetest moments of the day!
The story of how Nikki and Brian met is such a testament to fate, that I just have to share this again! Several years ago, Nikki had recently moved to Chicago from the Metro Detroit area, and she was out one night with a new group of friends! She accidentally bumped right into Brian, and from that moment they hit it off. Talk about fate and being at the right place at the right time! Since Nikki was new to Chicago and Brian had grown up there, she was able to experience her Chicago firsts with Brian by her side. Now these two are MARRIED!!
To Nikki and Brian, family means everything to them! They both are so close to their families and seeing and capturing the bond that they all had was so sweet. Nikki and Brian are so down to earth and personable, and I truly felt like I was photographing a friend’s wedding! And for that, I’m so thankful!
Nikki and Brian, where to even begin?! Thank you so, so much for choosing me to capture your wedding day. I just adore you both, and I’m so thankful that our paths crossed! I truly hope you cherish these photos for decades to come!!
