I ended my favorite month of the year with Grace and Dan’s wedding at The Henry! It couldn’t have been a more gorgeous way to end the month. The weather might’ve not been on our side that day, but that definitely didn’t stop us from capturing some amazing photos! And trust me, just wait until you see the photos we were able to capture inside the incredible Fisher Building in Detroit. The ornate architecture was perfect and Grace, Dan and their bridal party made my job so easy!
Soon after our portrait time, we all headed to St. Peter and Paul for the ceremony! The historic cathedrals in Downtown Detroit are absolutely breathtaking. As soon as those church doors opened and Dan saw Grace walk down the aisle, the tears started flowing. It was such a sweet moment! One of my favorite photos from the day was when Grace and Dan excited the church in the middle of the pouring rain. For me, there’s always something so inspiring and romantic about rain in the city, and that photo of the kissing with the umbrella was an instant favorite! After the ceremony, we all traveled to The Henry where everyone celebrated these two officially becoming husband and wife.
Grace and Dan, I hope you two are having the best time in Bali! I loved being a part of your wedding day, and I can’t thank you both enough for choosing me to document it. You guys are an amazing couple, and I hope you cherish these photos for years to come!
