What a way to end 2019 and ring in 2020! Erin and Nathan’s New Years Eve wedding at the Colony Club in Detroit was nothing short of amazing. I couldn’t have imagined a better way to end my 2019 season (and begin 2020) than with these two. It was a complete dream! There is just something so exciting about a NYE wedding, and it’s always so much fun capturing the excitement and energy that comes with it. The moment that it officially became 2020 was one of my favorite moments from their day and confetti makes everything better!
Erin and Nathan’s wedding day started at the Westin Book Cadillac where Erin and Nathan both got ready for the day. Soon after Erin stepped into her gorgeous dress (just wait until you see it) they shared an intimate first look together on the staircase at the Book Cadillac! From there, we adventured around Detroit for portraits before heading to the Colony Club for their ceremony and reception. Erin, Nathan and their entire bridal party were amazing for enduring the freezing temperatures for outdoor portraits! It was definitely worth it!
I love how Erin and Nathan met! Nathan’s friends all seemed to be going to this party, but somehow Nathan wasn’t invited. But, he showed up anyways, and it caught Erin’s attention. Erin wondered who this guy, who wasn’t invited, was and I guess you could say the rest is history! Erin and Nathan are an amazing couple and now their MARRIED! These two are some of the friendliest, down to earth couples you’ll ever meet.
To the newlyweds, I cannot thank you enough for choosing me to capture your wedding day! It was the absolute best day, and I loved every single second of it. You two are such an amazing couple and I cannot wait for you to see these photos!
