Allicia and I have known each other since Kindergarten, and we’ve been in the same class all the way until we graduated! During the very beginning of my photography career, I actually took Allicia’s senior pictures! It’s so crazy to look back and see how things have come full circle. I’m truly SO grateful for all the support that I had growing up from my friends to pursue this photography career! When Allicia reached out to me about shooting her wedding, I couldn’t have been more honored! It was such a huge privilege that I’m so thankful for.
These two have been through so much together, and it’s so evident how strong they are! But what’s, even more, inpsiring is Allicia and Omars ability to find joy in any situation. Anyone who knows Allicia knows what a contagious laugh she has. She and Omar are SO fun to be around! I really don’t think I’ve ever laughed that much during portraits at a wedding.
Allicia and Omar decided that they didn’t want to have a big wedding ceremony! Instead, they had a small private wedding ceremony with close family, and then they had a big reception a few days later to celebrate their wedding…. that day was when we took all of their portraits. Honestly, it couldn’t have come together more perfectly! Allicia and Omar shared a first look at The Henry, and then met up with the bridal party to head to the DIA for their remaining portraits before the reception!
I’m warning you all now how insanely gorgeous Allicia is in her ballgown dress!! It truly was stunning, and I could’ve photographed her and Omar all day long. There is just something so classic about a ballgown.
To the newlyweds, it has been SO much fun working with you both! I’m so grateful that I was able to capture this images for you. I cannot wait for you to see them! Thank you so much again for choosing me to be a part of your wedding day!
