This is not your typical engagement shoot! Amy wants to refer to this session as a New Beginning shoot and I love it. Kris is a

coach for the Detroit Lions and Amy worked at one of Metro Detroit’s most popular restaurants. Inevitably, their paths cross at

the restaurant, these two got to know each other, and then Kris proposed. 😉 Shortly, after their proposal, Amy was diagnosed

with breast cancer. Their wedding plans came to a halt while they focused on Amy’s health. Now a year later, Amy is cancer free

(yay!!!!) and she and Kris are getting married this June! Amy wanted to document this exciting time but didn’t quite want to

call it an engagement session, since they were engaged a little while ago. It’s an exciting new beginning and I’m so grateful I was

albe to capture it. 🙂
