Audry & Robert | Timeless Winter Wedding in Downtown Detroit

Happy New Year! The perfect way to start off 2020 on the blog is definitely with Audry and Robert’s Downtown Detroit wedding at the Rattlesnake. I’m a broken record, but December weddings are always my favorite! I love the cozy feel to the photos, the string lights in the city and the colors of the season. There is nothing quite like it, and Downtown Detroit is so beautiful during this time of year! It’s always worth being a little cold (or maybe a lot) for these photos. Always!
For Audry and Robert’s wedding, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. A 50 degree sunny day in December is rare and so perfect! The day started off with getting ready photos overlooking Detroit. Audry looked gorgeous in a fitted lace dress and the look on Robert’s face when he saw her for the first time that day says it all! Audry and Robert put such a high priority on their wedding da photos, and had scheduled time to adventure around several of my favorite locations around the city. We were able to capture some incredible photos!
Soon after the first look, we headed over the Rattlesnake, so that these two could officially become husband and wife!Audry and Robert adore each other and it was so evident all day long. The way Robert would glance over at Audry throughout the day was so sweet! And let me tell you, these two know how to through a party. Their reception was one of the most fun I’ve been to! From start to finish their wedding day was absolutely incredible.
Audry and Robert, I hope you two are enjoying married life! I have absolutely loved getting to know you both over the last year. You two are the best and it as such an honor to capture your wedding day!
