I ended off my busy month of May with Chelsea and Jason’s Downtown Detroit engagement session! This is definitely a good one! Chelsea and Jason also live Downtown, so it was fitting that we do their engagement session there as well. We walked around to some of my favorite hidden gems around the city, and to say I’m obsessed with these photos is an understatement!! I can’t get over how classic they are, but more importantly how much these photos reflect them as a couple.

Chelsea and Jason are so down to earth and personable! Several minutes into the session, I already felt like I was already friends with them! Not only are they one gorgeous couple (I’m convinced Chelsea is fashion blogger Julia Engle’s sister), but they the real deal. These two made my job so easy, and I had the best time with them!

We ended the session with sunset on Belle Isle! Chelsea and Jason celebrated with popping some champagne and it couldn’t have been a more perfect way to end such a fun session. May 2019 cannot come soon enough!
