Emily and Pat’s winter wedding at the Book Cadillac in Downtown Detroit was the best way to end my 2017 wedding season! I have loved getting to know these two over the past several months, and I couldn’t have imagined ending such an incredible year of weddings than with Emily and Pat’s wedding. I actually photographed Emily’s sister Erin’s wedding this past August (see here), and it was such an honor to have been chosen for her big day, too!!

Emily and Pat met while Emily was the intern at the company that Pat works for. At the time, Pat wasn’t looking for a relationship, but I guess you could say that the rest is now history! These two are some of my favorites. Emily and Pat are truly one of the most down to earth couples you’ll meet!

On the day of their wedding, it was a balmy 15 degrees outside. But, you would never know by looking at these portraits how freezing it was! Emily, Pat and all of their bridal party were THE best. We adventured to one of my new favorite spots around Downtown Detroit, and it ended up being the perfect location!

Emily and Pat, thank you for not only entrusting me to be your wedding photographer but for also braving the cold for these images! Your love for each other is so inspiring, and capturing it was simply the best. I am so incredibly happy for you both!! Let’s stay in touch!
