I am SO excited to be blogging! My blog and website was recently hacked, so I haven’t been able to blog anything until the whole issue was
resolved, so I am definitely happy to back blogging. AND what better way to start that off than with Erin and Lucas’s engagement session! I am
so thankful that our paths crossed because I just love these two. They are such a dream in front of the camera! As you will see, there was so
much joy and laughter during the whole session (my favorite!!). We started off the session at the Eleanor and Edsel Ford House. The grounds
there are so gorgeous, especially the architecture and the rose garden! It’s basically a photographer’s dream, and it was the perfect place to
start off. To make it even better they brought their sweet pup for a few photos (SO cute!!). Like I’ve mentioned multiple times before, I’m a
crazy dog lady haha! Dogs are always welcome to my engagement sessions and weddings, too. After we adventured around the grounds of
the Ford house, we headed down to one of my favorite spots in Detroit for sunset. We arrived at the rooftop right at dusk, and it was the perfect
time for pictures. The sky still had that gorgeous, dream glow and the city lights were starting to come one! Erin wore an incredible blue flowy
dress that I am obsessed with. I’m so in love with all of their images, but some of the rooftop ones are some of my all time favorites! Erin and
Lucas are so such a fun and down to earth couple, and they really made my job so easy. I cannot wait for their Northern Michigan wedding this
coming August, so I can hang out with them again!!
