I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard during an engagement session! Jamie and Donivan are such a fun couple. They truly find joy in everything, and I just adore that about them! They’re so down to earth, and I feel like I’ve made two new friends! I had the absolute best time with them during the shoot.

As all you Michiganders know, we basically had a nonexistent spring this year, which lead me to reschedule several of my shoots. We had to reschedule Jamie and Donivan’s shoot several times, and I remember Jamie saying that May 1st (the day of the shoot) was going to be the most gorgeous May 1st, because we were due for some nice weather. Well, guess what?! The day of the shoot was absolutely amazing and she was right!!

Jamie and Donivan actually met while working in Detroit, which lead them to getting in engaged in Detroit too! So naturally, it only made sense to have their engagement session in Detroit. We started off the session at the restaurant Parc (one of my favorite restaurants Downtown!)! From there, we walked to The Foundation Hotel. They went there the night they got engaged, so it was sentimental to grab a few shots there! And of course, we ended the session with sunset on a rooftop, and let me tell you we had the best sunset. It was the perfect way to end such an incredible shoot!
