Jillian and Jamie’s classic Colony Club Detroit wedding was by far THE best way to start my 2018 wedding season! Winter weddings are always some of my favorites, but they can be challenging because of the freezing cold! Jillian was such a dream bride, and she and Jamie made below freezing temperatures look so effortless. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone smile so much in a strapless dress in 10-degree weather like I saw Jillian (I told you she was a dream bride!!).

Their wedding day was filled with the best kind of emotion! From tears to LOTS of laughs and to everything in between…capturing not only Jillian and Jamie’s love for each other but to also their friends and family brought tears to my own eyes. Listening to the way that Jillian and Jamie’s best man and maid of honor spoke about them truly showed what an amazing, down to earth couple they are. These two are truly so perfect for each other! I also want to secretly become best friends with Jillian!!

To the newlyweds, I hope you two are enjoying your honeymoon in Thailand! You two are a photographer’s dream. Thank you so much for trusting me and for making 10-degree weather look so darn good! I’m so excited for you two and I can’t wait for you to see these images.
