Kelly and Mike’s Sleeping Bear Dunes engagement session was one of the dreamiest sessions I’ve EVER photographed… I honestly felt like I was shooting in heaven! I had one of those pinch me moments about 10 times during the session, and truthfully I’m still feeling the same way. There are just not enough adjectives to explain how excited I am about this!!

Northern Michigan is one of the prettiest places on earth! I grew up going on vacation in Northern Michigan every since I was a little girl, so anytime I’m up in that area it always feels so sentimental to me. When I first started my photography business when I was 15, I always dreamt about doing a session at Sleeping Bear Dunes! It is one of the most amazing places, and your jaw will literally drop to the ground once you experience it in real life. So, when I say this session was a dream… I literally mean a dream! Eight years later, I can’t help but feel so thankful for my amazing couples that have made my dreams a reality.

Again, my brides spoil me! As soon as I met Kelly and Mike in person, they handed me a box of donuts (they know me so well)! Seriously you guys, I have THE best clients ever. Kelly is simply stunning, and she chose two amazing dresses that fit each location perfectly! These two are so fun to be with, and truthfully I was a little sad when the session was over because I wouldn’t see them until July (their wedding!!).
