If there was one word that I could describe Kelly and Sean’s wedding day with it would be joyful! These two are just SO fun to be around, and it’s completely contagious. Their portrait time was filled with so much laughter, and honestly, I couldn’t help but smile as I was putting this blog post together! Kelly and Sean are so down to earth, and they have this ability to make everyone around them feel like your their best friend. My goal as a wedding photographer is to capture who my couples are, and I love how you can feel the joy and excitement in Kelly and Sean’s portraits!

Kelly and Sean have the same love for Detroit that I do, so I knew their Downtown Detroit wedding was going to be amazing! Their reception was held at the Colony Club, which is the quintessential Detroit venue. Seriously stunning! I loved how Kelly and Sean gave portraits such a high priority on their wedding day. We even snuck out of the reception for sunset pictures on a rooftop (you all know that those are some of my favorites ever!!). One of my favorite moments from their wedding day was the first dances. It’s always such an emotional time filled with laughs and happy tears, of course!

Kelly and Sean, thank you from the bottom of my heart for inviting me into such an important day in your lives! From the very beginning, you both were so much fun to work with, and I just loved being able to capture your wedding day. I can’t wait for you to see these images!
