You all know my love for late fall and early winter weddings! There’s something so romantic and intimate about weddings this time of year. Maybe it’s the Christmas lights or the snow, but the images during this time of year are always favorites of mine! Kristein and Don’s Detroit wedding almost two weeks ago was filled with so much sweet emotion. Like so many other 2020 couples, Kristein and Don had so much thrown at them during the wedding planning process! Covid changed their wedding plans too many times to count, but regardless, Kristein and Don knew that they wanted to get married. Their resilience throughout this process has been so inspiring, and their wedding day was nothing short of amazing!
Kristein looked so chic and elegant in her Sareh Nouri gown and it paired perfectly with the emerald green dresses she chose for her bridesmaids! Surrounded by 25 of their closest family and friends, Kristein and Don officially became husband and wife at a historic cathedral in Downtown Detroit. Soon after, we adventured around the city for portraits before heading back to their home to celebrate!
To the newlyweds, I cannot thank you both enough for entrusting me to capture your wedding day! You two have been such a dream to work with, and I cannot wait for you to see these photos.
