Lauren and Chris’ wedding last month at the Colony Club in Downtown Detroit was one for the books! Shooting at the Colony Club is always

incredible, and then when you add one gorgeous couple it just becomes such a dream to photograph. I just love Lauren and Chris! They’re

truly one of the sweetest couples I’ve worked with. I feel so lucky to have had our paths cross! Classic and elegant Detroit weddings are some of

my favorites, and their whole entire day did not disappoint.

 

The day started off with Lauren, Chris and their bridal party getting ready at the Westin Book Cadilac in Downtown Detroit, and from there

we all headed off to Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak for their ceremony! I love shooting in historic cathedrals. That architecture is

amazing! Following the ceremony, we all headed to Downtown Detroit for portraits. You all know my crazy love for Detroit and cities, so I

was one happy photographer! I love the color that Lauren chose for her bridesmaids to wear. It paired perfectly with the city backdrop, and

let’s not forget about the gorgeous bouquets by Emerald City Designs! Totally obsessed! From there we headed to the Colony Club for one

gorgeous reception. I am so excited to share these images with you! Lauren and Chris’ wedding day is definitely a new all time favorite!!
