Lauren and Stephen were married 10 years ago! They had a small, intimate wedding after a three-month
engagement. Lauren said that she wouldn’t change a thing about their wedding, besides the fact that she
didn’t wear a wedding dress! So, in celebration of their 10 year wedding anniversary they decided to set up a
bride and groom session during their vacation to Clearwater, Florida. Lauren bought the perfect dress too,
the way it flowed with the ocean breeze (or should I say gusts because of the storms haha) was breathtaking.
Florida weather is something else! We started the shoot in Downtown Dunedin with a cloudless sky, and on our
way to catch the sunset on Honeymoon Island, clouds started rolling in. The normal gray kind and then these
massive dark, storm clouds blew in. Now I’m all for a gorgeous Florida beach sunset, but these clouds were
amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to see a storm coming! The blues of the ocean and then the dark,
ominous clouds was something out of a movie. Now I’m going to put a little disclaimer in here: we saw no
lightning at all, so we weren’t in any danger. 😉 Lauren and Stephen were up for anything, which was perfect
because towards the end of the shoot these storm clouds were pretty intimidating!
