Lena & Tyler | Detroit Wedding at the Belle Isle Casino

Truthfully, I’ve been sitting in front of my computer for quite some time trying to come up with the right words to adequately describe how AMAZING Tyler and Lena’s wedding in Downtown Detroit was! These two put such a high priority on their wedding photos, and I couldn’t have asked for a more dream couple than Tyler and Lena. They are sweetest, most trusting and down to earth couple! I feel so lucky to have crossed paths with them and I’m a little sad that our time together has come to an end, but obviously, SO happy for them as they start this new chapter together as husband and wife!

Lena and Tyler wanted the people that meant the most of them to be a part of their wedding day, so they had a more intimate event at the Belle Isle Casino and they decided to forgo a bridal party and I love that approach! These two shared an emotional first look together in front of the Shinola Hotel before we adventured around the city for bride and groom photos. Don’t be fooled, it was not the warmest day in the city, but you’d never know because Tyler and Lena are just that good! Soon after our time in Downtown Detroit, we headed to Belle Isle for sunset photos before the ceremony and celebration began. I couldn’t believe what an amazing sunset we had, and those photos are some of my favorites from the day!

Their closest family and friends gathered together at the Belle Isle Casino to witness these two officially become husband and wife and to celebrate alongside of them. The day ended with sparklers and it was the perfect way to end the day!

Lena and Tyler, you two are simply the best and I can’t thank you enough for trusting me to capture your wedding day. You both are such a joy to be around and I feel honored to have documented this time in your lives!
