A week and a half later, and I’m still speechless from Melissa and Pat’s glamorous Colony Club Detroit wedding! I can’t fully wrap my head around how GORGEOUS the whole entire day was, especially Melissa! Melissa wore an Ines Di Santo couture wedding gown with the most amazing lace sleeves. She looked like a dream, and she was glowing all day long! The look on Pat’s face when he saw Melissa for the first time says it all. These two share the sweetest love… so sweet that you can see it through these photos!
The beginning of the day was filled with so much anticipation and excitement as everyone prepared at the Book Cadillac in Downtown Detroit! The sun was shining and it was a rare warm day for the end of October. Melissa and Pat exchanged their vows at Ste. Anne de Detroit, which is one of the oldest cathedrals in the United States! The architecture and history paired perfectly for their classic Downtown Detroit wedding. The newlyweds chose the Fischer Building for their portraits, and it was so inspiring to shoot at a new location! We lucked out with an incredible sunset… we couldn’t have asked for anything better!
Mr. and Mrs. Moore, thank you for trusting me to capture these photos for you! You both are such dream clients, and I’ve so enjoyed working and getting to know you both over these past months. Your wedding day will always be forever favorite of mine! I hope these photos help you relive your wedding day for decades to come!!
