Melissa & Robert | Intimate New Haven Wedding

Melissa and Robert started off as coworkers, which soon turned into more! This past Saturday they officially became husband and wife in an incredibly beautiful and intimate celebration at Roai in Downtown New Haven! You might remember these two from their epic Brooklyn Bridge engagement session from this past summer. I had such an amazing time getting to know them during the engagement session, that I couldn’t wait to see Melissa and Robert again for their wedding day. They both are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet! I’ve gained two friends and my photographer’s heart is so full!

The morning of the wedding, Melissa’s mom and sister helped her into her gorgeous Berta gown! She looked absolutely stunning in the lace sleeves and cathedral length veil. Soon after, Melissa and Robert shared a first look with each other at The Sterling Memorial Library at Yale! The campus was a photographers dream. The architecture made for the most perfect portraits!

Later that evening, Melissa and Robert made their way to Roai to officially become husband and wife! Forty of their closest family and friends gathered into the restaurant to support these two as they started their journey together as a married couple.

Melissa and Robert, thank you so, so much for choosing me to capture your wedding day! I’ve loved getting to know you two over the past year, and I’m so thankful that our paths crossed. I wish you two nothing but the best as you start this journey as husband and wife!
