Truthfully, I’ve been staring at my computer screen way too long trying to figure out how to put Mercedez and Gino’s wedding day into words! Their story and their love for each other was one that I’ll never forget, and it’s had such a huge impact on me that I really can’t find enough words to really express how amazing they are as a couple. Let’s start off with how these two met… Mercedez and Gino first met at a wedding, and Gino couldn’t take his eyes off Mercedez the whole night. Once these two got to talking, Mercedez told Gino that the only way he could have her number was if he memorized it! Let’s just say that now the rest is history haha!

I actually met Mercedez and Gino for the first time in person on their wedding day! Since these two are from Texas, we FaceTimed leading up to the big day. From the very first moment I walked into Mercedez’s bridal suite the morning of her wedding, I felt like I made a new best friend! Mercedez just has that way about her. She’s so down to earth, and her bubbly personality literally lights up an entire room! Gino absolutely adores Mercedez, and I loved the way that Gino couldn’t take his eyes off of Mercedez the whole entire day! He would sneak glances over at her, and it was seriously THE cutest!! These two are the real deal, and their wedding day was such a reflection of that.

I could spend all afternoon writing about all of my favorite part of their wedding day, like the first look, the personal, handwritten vows, but my all time favorite moment from their wedding day was Mercedez and Gino’s last dance at the end of the night. When I first talked to Mercedez, she mentioned that she wanted to clear the whole entire dance floor at the end of the wedding and share the last dance with Gino – just the two of them in in the whole entire ballroom! Friends, it was honestly the sweetest thing. After their last dance of the night, they ended the night by running through confetti! It really doesn’t get any better than that!

To the newlyweds, I really wish Texas wasn’t so far away! You two are some of the most genuine people I know. I’m so grateful that our paths crossed, and that I was able to document your love for each other!
