Over that last three weeks, I took a break from shooting and blogging, and to say I missed it is an understatement! I can’t imagine a better way to get back into it than with Ryan and Michael’s Ann Arbor engagement session from last week. On the day of the session, we couldn’t have asked for anything better! Sunshine in the middle of February is always rare here in Michigan, so not only did we get lots of sunshine, but we also had snow!! It made for the perfect backdrop for photos. We started off the session at the Nichols Arboretum and warmed up with lattes at Literati Bookstore, which was the place that Ryan and Michael actually first met! It all was so perfect.

Michael and Ryan are such a joy to be around, and they truly are such a sweet couple. Their getting married next January in Downtown Detroit and I cannot wait to be a part of it!
