Michele and Kris’ wedding day at the Community House in Downtown Birmingham was the definition of classic! I remember when I first sat down to talk with them about their vision for their fall wedding next October, and I knew that not only was their wedding going to be amazing, but that Michele and Kris were going to be amazing to work with. And I was definitely right! These two both prioritized photos on their wedding day, and I can’t even begin to tell you all how incredible that was.

Before the ceremony, Michele and Kris wanted to share a first look with just the two of them in Downtown Birmingham! It truly was such a sweet and intimate time for them to enjoy by themselves. They also wanted a few photos with their Golden Retriever puppy Oliver! If you know me, you know I’m a crazy dog lady! I’m especially partial to Golden Retrievers, since we also have our sweet Golden pup, Stella! Let’s just say that Oliver stole the show, and I’m so happy that Michele and Kris had him come along for a few photos.

Leading up to the wedding day, Michele and Kris mentioned that after the ceremony they planned to head to Detroit for some street shots, and that was music to my ears! So, after the ceremony, we traveled to Downtown Detroit for those photos, and they are some of my favorites from the wedding day. Michele and Kris and their bridal party totally killed it with those shots! Taking photos in the middle of the street always take a little more time to prep and plan, but these guys were totally down for it. I can’t wait for you all to see those! To finish off the day, we all headed back to Birmingham to celebrate with these two, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect finish to an already perfect day.

Michele and Chris, I hope you two are enjoying you honeymoon in Italy and I can’t wait for you to see these photos! Thank you so much for choosing me to capture this time in your lives. I’ve loved getting to know you over the past year, and I’m so happy for you two!
