I honestly don’t even know where to begin! New York City has always been a place that just inspires me, even

before I became a photographer. It’s true I’m a city girl through and through, so when I’m in New York City, my

heart explodes with happiness. I try so hard to blend in with the New York natives by not taking my camera out

every 30 seconds, but sometimes I just can’t help it! I love the hustle and bustle of life, the architecture and the

taxis at every corner. New York City is my dream place to live! As you can imagine, when Shannon contacted me

about her engagement photos in New York City I was elated. As much as I love this city, I love shooting in it even

more!

Shannon and Anthony were in the bridal party at my previous New York wedding (see here), and I was so excited

to get another chance to have them in front of my camera. We decided to have the session in the Upper West

Side and then end with sunset pictures on the rooftop of their studio! We stopped traffic, dodged a couple taxis

and climb over a few barriers. And Shannon did that all while wearing her Louboutin heels, which I’m still

drooling over! Just wait until you see the ring shots with her Louboutin’s. 😉 Let’s just say that on my taxi ride back

to my hotel I couldn’t stop smiling! I’m already counting down the days until their wedding next June. This is one

of my favorite sessions to date, and I’m so excited to share it with you all!
