The first time I crossed paths with Stacy was when I reached out to the Dearborn Inn when I was planning my own wedding! Stacy works at the Dearborn Inn and when my mom and I met up with Stacy to talk about wedding details I casually mentioned that I was a wedding photographer. I’ll be the first person to tell you that Stacy is simply the sweetest person, and she was one of the reasons we booked our wedding there!! We knew we were in great hands! Fast forward to almost a year later, and Stacy reaches out to me to shoot HER wedding!!! Guys, Stacy works in the wedding industry, do you know what a huge honor it is to photograph another industry professional?! HUGE!! I couldn’t believe it… she even booked her wedding around my schedule! It is seriously so humbling, and I might start crying now ha.

Eric and Stacy have been together since Junior High! Can you believe that?! So, their wedding day was definitely in the making for a while. There really isn’t a sweeter or more adorable couple than Stacy and Eric! You could feel the love that they have for each other all day. They both are so laidback and easy going, that their wedding day didn’t even feel like work!

We were trying to beat the rain all day, and we definitely accomplished just that! Stacy and Eric shared such a personal first look with each other before the ceremony, so we had so much time to photograph around the Dearborn Inn for portraits! Stacy looked like a timeless beauty in her Hayley Paige ball gown, and I loved her black, ivory and gold color palette! It really doesn’t get any more classic than that! Stacy’s grandparents had their reception at the Dearborn Inn, and I loved that we were able to take portraits in the exact same location that they did decades before.

Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, thank you from the very bottom of my heart for choosing me to photograph your wedding! You have no idea how much of an honor it was for me to be apart of your wedding day. It was such a dream! I truly hope that you cherish these images for years and years to come!!
