This wedding is a real special one!! I had the huge honor to photograph my sister in law’s wedding this past weekend! Brad and I (and our pup Stella) drove to Knoxville, Tennessee to celebrate along side of Valerie and Peter as they officially tied the knot. And let me tell you, these bride and groom portraits are some of my favorites I’ve ever taken… especially the sunset photos!!
Valerie and Peter are college sweethearts! Valerie caught Peter’s eye during her freshmen year! Fast forward a year and these two started dating. I remember Brad telling me about how Valerie liked this guy Peter, and like any millennial we found Peter on Facebook to see what all the excitement was about! We’re so happy to have Peter as a part of the family. These two are such a sweet couple and I couldn’t be more excited for them as they start the journey of marriage together.
It was a cool 90 degrees on the day of the wedding, but these two and their bridal party are so good that you would never know! Valerie and Peter decided on a first look, and I will never forget Peter’s reaction when he saw Valerie. As soon as Peter turned around and saw Valerie, he burst into tears and ran over for the sweetest hug! It’s so evident how much Peter adores Valerie.
I love how Valerie prioritized bride and groom portraits into the wedding day timeline. It was incredible to have so much time with just her and Peter for portraits, and it definitely paid off! I’m warning you all know, there were too many good ones for me to narrow down so there’s lots of pretty images to look though.
Mr. and Mrs. Schuldt, it felt like yesterday that we heard the news that you were engaged and now you two are married! It was such an amazing honor to photograph your wedding day and I couldn’t be happier for you two. I hope you enjoy just a few of my favorites! Enjoy your honeymoon!!
