Tori is from Indiana and Nick is from Michigan, and they both decided to spend the spring break of 2012 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! They met on their second day of vacation and spent most of the week getting to know each other. They both knew that they had a special connection to each other and that regardless they needed to stay in touch. Well, after years of long distance, countless phone calls and hundreds of miles, Nick proposed to Tori! Now this past Saturday, Tori and Nick were married at the Westin Book Cadillac and it was an amazing day!

I remember when I received Tori’s initial email to me last summer! We both have so much in common, and her and Nick seemed like an awesome couple. I knew that I just had to photograph their wedding day! Tori is so sweet and I felt like I gained a new friend during this whole process and I’m so thankful for that!

The day of the wedding there was on and off torrential downpours, but these two didn’t let that phase them one bit! In fact, I love the images we were able to create inside and outside in the rain. I teased that instead of sunset photos we captured rainy photos, but those photos turned out so magical and I am obsessed with them!

One of the many favorite moments of the way was the first look that Tori and Nick shared together! I guarantee it will bring tears to your eyes. Nick was so overtaken with emotion when he saw Tori for the first time! Ah! I just love first looks.

Mr. and Mrs. Clark, you and your family and friends were so amazing to work with! I truly have loved every single second of it. You both are such a fun and down to earth couple, and I’m so thankful that our paths crossed! Thank you for entrusting me to capture these moments for you!
