It feels like my 2018 wedding season has just started and now I’m wrapping up only a handful of weddings left for this year! Where has the time gone?! It’s been one amazing year, and I’m in disbelief that it’s almost over. Anyways, I’ve been looking forward to Lexie and Cody’s Colony Club Detroit wedding for so long, and I’m sitting here trying to find the rights words to accurately describe how amazing it was! From start to finish, everything about their wedding was perfection.

Snow fell outside as Lexie stepped into her jaw dropping Lazaro ball gown… that dress was practically made for her! She looked stunning. Soon after, her and Cody shared an intimate first look together before adventuring around Downtown Detroit for portraits! One of my favorite moments of the day was when Cody, Lexie and their entire bridal party stopped traffic for a few epic bridal party portraits in the middle of the street… just wait until you see those photos. Later that evening, Lexie and Cody’s family and friends all gathered together at the Colony Club to witness and support these two officially becoming husband and wife!

Truthfully, there are not enough words to describe how much I loved working with Lexie and Cody! They both are so down to earth and such a gracious couple. Their wedding day didn’t even seem like work and I feel like such a lucky photographed to have documented their wedding day!

To the newlyweds, I hope you’re enjoying your tropical honeymoon! To say I’m excited for you two to see these photos is an understatement. I can’t thank you enough for choosing me to be apart of your wedding day! I adore you two and I’m so happy for you guys as you start this journey together as husband and wife!
